Brigadier Charles Crichton
Little is known about Brigadier Crichton. He succeeded Lethbridge-Stewart as commander of UNIT UK in 1976, but was only promoted from Colonel to Brigadier in 1984 due, to army politics. Most of his time in command of UNIT was fairly quiet, UNIT often being involved in clear-up operations after various incidents, mostly involving the Doctor Agents, and in policing international conferences and suchlike. He was in command during UNIT's investigation at the Det-Sen monastery in Tibet as well as the New World University Incident. Shortly after the latter incident, Brigadier Crichton retired from UNIT after nearly 20 years in command of UNIT UK, and was promoted to General. General Crichton is currently living out his retirement in an extremely nice village in the heart of Suffolk.
